The Dress
My mom worked on my dress and it just wasn't turning out the way we wanted it to. So we went shopping at Fantastic Finds in Lansing, MI and Donna helped me find this dress. It's chiffon and very easy to wear. I'm really excited about it because I just couldn't find anything that I was looking for and then I tried this one on and it was just perfect for what I had envisioned. I don't have any pictures of me in it but I'll post them when I comes in. It was also under my budget for spending on a dress which I was happy about too. I may actually get to wear the shoes I want too which would be flip-flops. We'll see though maybe I'll find the perfect pumps.
Bling for my feet!
So I saw these shoes and for some reason fell in love with them. I know they aren't the typical wedding shoes but we aren't the typical wedding party. As of right now these are going to be my wedding shoes. When I go back to my parents house in a few weeks I'll take a picture of them with my dress and put it on here. They are so comfortable and so fun.
Cufflinks
The guys are going to be wearing Red Wings cufflinks, because Dave wanted something Red Wings in our wedding but I didn't want it to be very big time. So he's bought them all cufflinks as part of there groomsmens gift. These aren't the exact ones we bought but I don't have a picture of them.
Tie Tacks
I thought since we are going with solid red ties that tie tacks would be a fun addition. We've made enough for the dad's, groomsmen, my brother whom is marrying us, and our ceremony musician that is one of my best friend
Bling-Bling
These are our wedding bands. They are matching (only different widths) carbon fiber inlaid tungsten rings. I didn't want a ring to match my engagement ring because I'm probably going to wear it on my right hand after we get married.
Groom & Groomsmen
Dave is a super laid back guy so he didn't want to wear a tux or even a suit to our wedding which is totally okay with me. So the guys are going to wear white french cuff shirts, black pants with a bit of a sheen to them and probably red ties. We haven't decided on those yet. That's one of the many decisions left to be made.
Bridesmaids Dresses
My girls all have there dresses ordered now. They are very similar to mine but instead of halter tops they are normal tank style straps. I can't get a picture of them since they are custom for the dress shop they came from. I'll hopefully get a picture of them when the dresses come in.
